It’s cold, overcast and a chance of snow, so we are going to layer up to stay warm. The Craig Hospital participants show up around 10:00AM and we started with some instruction on the trap shooting range. Everyone is getting the hang of it and more clays are being broken. The tune up is over and the dogs are ready to go. So we head to the grass in search of pheasants.

The tune up is over and the dogs are ready to go. So we head to the grass in search of pheasants.
We manage to flush some up, put a few in the bag and some pheasants escaped to another zip code. It’s a fun hunt and everyone is enjoying watching the dogs work and the birds fly. It’s lunch time and we head to the clubhouse for a Vahalla lunch and some warmth. It has been a great day and a big thanks to the Valhalla Hunt Club and all the volunteers.
