It is a beautiful fall day to be fly fishing on the creek and ponds at Lincoln Hills. Most of the participants are new to fly fishing so we start with the fundamentals—gear, knots and casting—taught by the expert guides from Front Range Anglers. Next, everyone pairs up with a guide and heads for the waters. We fish until lunchtime. The morning has been a success as everyone catches at least one trout and releases it back into the water. It’s been a great day. A big thanks to Lincoln Hills, Front Range Anglers, all the guides and volunteers as well as the Spice of Life for catering a fantastic lunch!
