December 31, 2017 Location: RMS Gear Wheat Ridge, CO Hosted By: River Deep and SCI HOP Participants: Operation TBI Freedom and Soldiers from Ft Carson WTB Archery instruction and lunch We had an enthusiastic group of Vets, spouses and children ready for some archery instruction with the best instructors and facility in Colorado. Tom Clum and his staff took us thru all the steps of traditional archery. The group was fitted with a recurve or longbow, with basic form and technique explained. Everyone stepped up to the line with their instructors arrows flying and smiles followed. There is no sign of slowing down, everybody is having a great time learning, shooting, and improving. As the food arrived for lunch, it looked like we would have to pry the bows out of the participants hands. It’s been a great day and it looks like many have found a new sport. A big thanks to RMS Gear and staff. Happy New Year!
