Blacksmithing
Five veterans and two family members attended this month’s Fundamentals of Blacksmithing class.
Our Master Blacksmith, Ron Hardman explained that while safety and details are important, they
should not be an obstacle to having fun. First they learned a little bit about the history of
blacksmithing and put all the demonstrated skills into practice for themselves, creating a small knife
to take home.
