Blacksmithing

We had a big group of twelve veterans and one family member attend this month’s fundamentals of blacksmithing class. We confirmed again that having a physical disability is not an obstacle for anyone to have fun and gather with fellow veterans. The Master Blacksmith, Ron Hardman made sure everyone understood what to expect from the class and taught us about the history of blacksmithing. Each participant then practiced their skills and created a small knife they were able to take home with them!
